How to stop ExtendScript Toolkit from launching on error.

I have a script written that automatically creates a layer with an effect.

This allows a quick shortcut when it comes to repetitive daily events like creating a layer, adding Element 3D, renaming the layer, etc.

I then tried removing Element 3D from my effects and then coding an error catch.

It successfully shoots up an alert box but still opens ExtendScript Toolkit every time.

How do I stop that from happening?
