I know they've talked about it before, but I'll try my luck ...
What are the chances that I will be able to create using the in via extendScript,
dropdownlist of fonts that can be selected by After Effects user?
Maybe
It does not have to be exactly like "Character Panel" in After Effects,
but you should have the option to select fonts and font weights.
